BMDSys rewarded "Heller Kopf 2009"

On December 22nd 2009 Torsten Krümmel was rewarded "Heller Kopf 2009" for his outstanding activities with BMDSys and the development of the new heart diagnosis system Apollo CXS. This system, that can help to identify and this way protect people at risk of sudden cardiac death (SCD), has been developed by an international team of scientists. The Apollo CXS is the worldwide first MFI system available for clinical routine use and already is used for example in the cardiology centers of "Asklepios Klinikum St. Georg" in Hamburg, and the specialised Center for cardiac arrhythmology of the "Klinikum Ludwigshafen".
