Application in clinics and practices

Apollo CXS has been specially developed for routine clinical application in cardiology departments. Because of its intuitive operation, MFI can be integrated into clinical routine, for example, the examination can be carried out by a nurse or by a medical technical assistant, while the attending physician is making the diagnosis on his analysis system, independently of the recording of data.

The results are available within a minute and the recorded data can be analysed within just a few moments. The advanced software can display the data from any point in the heartbeat in three dimensions, thus providing the physician with optimum support when making a diagnosis and making the clinical routine easier. The detailed results reduce the need for often time-consuming cost-intensive examinations.

In terms of manageability in the clinic, the speed and efficiency of Apollo CXS is most impressive. More than 60 patients per day can be examined.

The system was developed in collaboration with health professionals, specialised physicists and technicians to take into account all technical requirements and to best meet clinical demands. In addition to the immediate optimisation effects, clinics can position themselves as innovative and future-oriented service providers for their patients by using the Apollo CXS.

Delivery and installation

Apollo CXS can be delivered in an integrated examination unit, which has been specially designed for the system and can be installed both inside the clinic and in the clinic’s grounds, thus enabling clinics without suitable premises to use the system as well. The detection unit measures 2.5 x 7.5 metres and can be installed within just one week, site conditions permitting. The entire examination unit has integrated radio frequency shielding and contains the sophisticated MIANDA analysis system. The requirements for using the system are access to an electricity supply, Internet access, compressed air and air conditioning.

Increased success through innovative diagnostics

The clinical landscape has changed significantly in recent years. Rising competition and budget cuts have made a reorientation necessary. Topics such as marketing and strategic positioning have entered into the clinical routine. With MFI diagnostics, clinics can establish themselves nationally in cardiology and offer patients added value. This method can be used to safely diagnose and initiate appropriate treatments for even difficult cases at first glance.
